The ACT Government have just released the new Occupation List. This list identifies the skills that are currently in demand in Canberra (for skilled migration purposes). The ACT Occupation List is used to determine the eligibility for ACT support of the following programs:
- ACT nomination of a Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa. You can express an interest in ACT 190 nomination by completing the Canberra Matrix even if the nominated occupation is closed. However, only open occupations will score points in the nominated occupation category.
- Regional Certifying Body support of an Employer Nomination under the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme.
