Dubai Emir Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum announced new visa liberalizations on Nov. 15, the Khaleej Times reported Nov. 15. And here we have yet another competitor for highly skilled workers. The Arab countries offer tax free or tax competitive environments, and when looking at Australia these workers might simply prefer to go where the money is while they can!
Wouldnt surprise me at all to see others follow suit. Probably not the Saudis. Time will tell.
